1. Visit to the Aragonese Castle

The Aragonese Castle rises majestically over the sea with the wonderful Campanian archipelago behind it. Open every day from 10:00 to 18:00, in a wonderful location with parking and a very comfortable funicular that allows you to reach the 10 hot thermal pools, the Kneipp paths, the Turkish bath, the wellness center... and also the sea!

4. Feast of San Vito in Forio

In mid-June there is a celebration in Ischia: San Vito, the patron saint of Forio, is celebrated, for which a large celebration is organized, highly appreciated by both the islanders and tourists, thus returning to the ranking of the most beautiful patronal celebrations of Ischia. The celebration of the saint through the various and typical religious functions is inevitable, but the festival comes to life right in the center of the town and on the seafront where stalls of all kinds are set up. 8. Broom Festival

For over 20 years, the first Sunday of June in Ischia has been dedicated to the folkloristic "Festa della Ginestra": the anniversary begins in Buonopane, a hamlet of Barano d'Ischia, and consists of an excursion (in the green and yellow of the ginestre) which ends in Piano San Paolo, an ancient fossil beach, where the real party begins with lots of typical food, traditional music and dances by the folk group 'Ndrezzata. Ischia's Ginestra festival is definitely an event not to be missed.
