Restaurant
There are two central restaurants with air conditioning and reserved tables with 8/9 seats, often shared with other guests (for those who choose the Comfort room or the Suite, the table is private). There is a buffet service and cooking-demonstration show at breakfast, lunch and dinner in the central restaurant. The Gran Valentino Village also has a restaurant/braceria "Scirò" on the beach open at lunch and a pizzeria "Pizza&Grill Ethra" open at dinner, both with reserved tables for the families, from monday to saturday from 11/06 to 15/09. The meals in these restaurants can be reserved in the village the day before and are subject to availability, with the possibility to separate the rounds in different time bands. The restaurant Coquì, open at lunch and dinner from monday to saturday offers a tasting menu (must be reserved, surcharge). Bar: there are 4 bars, one of them on the beach. The staff is particularly careful for the guests with food intolerances (gluten, lactose, eggs). There is a moms' kitchen open 24/7 for the parents who want to cook for their babies, with assistance and ingredients available during the hours of the main meals.

Locality
Decorated by the mediterranean scrub and an expanse of scented Aleppo's pines, Castellaneta Marina is one of the most beautiful beach localities on the western part of the Gulf of Taranto, with crystal-clear and shallow water. The coastline is characterized by long and white-sand beaches (some of them are free while others are private beach clubs equipped with every comfort) but also by amusement parks, night clubs, shopping centres, golf courses, stables, hotels and restaurants. Its beaches won the "bandiera blu" award.

Places to know and visit
The Church of Santa Maria del Pesco, right on the edge of the canyon, has a privileged position on the beautiful landscape of the Castellaneta canyon. The little rocky church is also known as Santa Maria della Luce for the famous namesake painting in the crypt, or as Vergine Assunta. Located near a preexisting underground complex, today the church is dedicated to the Vergine Assunta. Inside, there is the thirteenth-century painting of the "Madonna col Bambino".

The Cathedral and the episcopal Palace. The Cathedral rises on the top of Castellaneta, on the edge of the canyon and is dedicated to the Vergine Assunta, with a fourteenth-century bell tower beside the episcopal Palace. It was built on the remains of the ancient church of San Nicola (1000), and then modified during 1400 with a romanic/apulian style. The 1700 restoration transformed all the friezes and decorations into baroque elements. The episcopal Palace, located near the cathedral, hosts the diocesan museum with the precious polyptych by Gerolamo da Santacroce. 

The Church of the Transito di San Giuseppe was built in 1729 by Angelo and Vito Oronzo Gentile Sarapo. At the centre of the gate there is the emblem of the Sarapo family. This baroque-style church rises in Via Carrare. Inside, there are three eighteenth-century paintings, one of which is dated back to 1744 and is signed by Vincenzo Fato.

The wide white-sand beaches, decorated by the scented bushes and shaded pinewoods of the mediterranean scrub, are the best part of Castellaneta's marine, awarded with a "bandiera blu". Its crystal-clear and shallow waters are suitable for families. Riva dei Tessali, with the golf course, is an inlet surrounded by a wood of conifers, with shallow and crystal-clear water.

Club card
Mandatory card for guests older than 3 years, it entitles the owner to use the sports facilities, the beach services, to participate in tournaments and group lessons, to use the Serenino, SereninoPiù Club, Serenup and Serenhappy services. At the GranSerena, more than 40 entertainers are ready to amuse the guests of any age, adults and children, with parties, shows, sports courses and tournaments, live music and dancing, excursions. Shows in the amphitheater every evening: musical, cabaret, variety shows, games. The Bluserena villages are the first in Italy with the quality mark "VACANZA AMICA DEI BAMBINI", child-friendly holiday, recognized by the National Federation of Pediatricians Cipe-Sispe-Sinspe. All services, comforts and structures are designed to be used by children, teenagers and adults, fun and safe and always controlled. In the Serenino Club, SereninoPiù Club, Serenup and Serenhappy, the children will be entrusted to highly-qualified professional enterteiners who will present a varied program of activities. All the listed services are available from 04/06 to 08/09, except for the Serenino and the SereninoPiù Club that are available for the entire summer season. The teenagers can also participate in the Serenup and Serenhappy activities such as theater, sports, games and much more. All the family will have fun with the Bluserena Circus, learning the basis of circus performances.

Soft All Inclusive
The two main restaurants offer a buffet service at breakfast (with coffee dispenser), lunch and dinner (with cooking-demonstration shows) wine in carafes and filtered water, a reserved table for the entire week with 8/9 seats, often shared with other guests. Lunch is reserved for the children of the Mini Club and the teenagers of the Teeny and Junior Club from 04/06 to 08/09 with pizza and snacks served on the beach from 11:00 to 12:30. The Gran Valentino Village also has a restaurant/braceria on the beach open at lunch, and a pizzeria/grill open at dinner, both with reserved tables for the families, from monday to saturday from 11/06 to 15/09. The meals in these restaurants can be reserved in the village the day before and are subject to availability, with the possibility to separate the rounds in different time bands. The gourmet restaurant Coquì is open at dinner, must be reserved and has an extra cost with tasting menu (closed on sunday). The bars offer filtered water. The beach offers a reserved umbrella, a sunbed and a beach chair for each family. The kitchen offers a space for the parents who want to cook for their babies, open 24/7, with assistance and main ingredients avaiable during the hours of the main meals.

All Inclusive
Available for guests that stay for a minimum of 7 nights. It includes drinks until 14:00 on the day of the departure. The main bars offer espresso and cappuccino, decaffeinated and barley coffee, cappuccino with soy milk, white milk, macchiato, ginseng, american coffee, coffee with a splash of liquor, coffee cream, tea and infusions; beverages on tap in 20 cl glasses: iced lemon or peach tea, lemonade, tonic water, cedrata, chinotto, orange soda and coca-cola (or pepsi); fruit juices (pineapple, ace, peach, apricot, red orange, pear), black cherry syrups, almond milk, mint and barley coffee), mineral water, draft beer in 20 cl glasses, white wine, red wine, prosecco, liqueur, tonic liquor, vermouth, cocktails and grappa. All the cocktails, champagne and the alcoholic drinks (grappa, liqueurs and prosecco) marked as "special" on the menu are not included. The bars of the main restaurant offer espresso and cappuccino, decaffeinated and barley coffee, cappuccino with soy milk, white milk and macchiato; at lunch and dinner a beverage on tap in a 40 cl glass for each person older than 3 years choosing among beer, orange soda and coca-cola (or pepsi). It also includes the possibility to rent one beach towel for each person older than 12 years that can be changed after the first week (further washes are not free). To have access to the services it is mandatory to use the Smart Card and to wear the specific bracelet. The All Inclusive formula cannot be used to offer drinks to third parties. The formula can be revoked by the client himself at any moment, and by Bluserena if the rules are not followed by the client. In both cases, the guest will benefit of the Soft All Inclusive offer.

Each kit must be reserved during the booking and costs € 49,00.
