Restaurant
The air-conditioned restaurant "Il Centrale" in the square of the resort is the perfect place to enjoy delicious and rich buffet tables full of national and sardinian specialties (the tables are not assigned). Water and homemade wine in carafes are included during the meals. Inside the village there is a pizzeria/grill "Alle Palme" (open from 10/06 to 10/09), reservation required, that serves grilled meat and fish and pizza at dinner, with sweet and savoury appetizers; water and homemade wine in carafes, draft beer and coca-cola are included during the meals. The guests that choose the Superior rooms will have a reserved table at the restaurant "Moby Dick" on sea (open from 10/06 to 10/09) with buffet service at lunch and waiter service at dinner; water and homemade wine in carafes are included during the meals (paying an extra cost, the guests can also choose one of the many excellent local and national wines carefully selected by the restaurant). During the previous and following periods, there is a buffet service with assigned tables in a reserved area of the central restaurant. The access to the Moby Dick will also be open for the guests of the Oleandri rooms (subject to availability) who will pay an extra cost on the spot. 

Locality
Costa Rei is a maritime fraction of Muravera, in the province of Cagliari, located on the southeastern coast of Sardinia. The locality extends for about 10 km, from Porto Piratsu to Cala Sinzias, and has its centre at the base of the Mount Nai (200 meters) that gives its name to the surrounding area. Favourite destination of many tourists, especially young people, Costa Rei is the fifth locality on the list of the most beautiful beaches around the world, together with the Maldives, Hawaii, Thailand and Yucatan.

Places to know and visit
Wide fine-sand beaches alternate with palm trees and mediterranean scrub, creating the typical landscape of the southeastern coast of Sardinia, pervaded by the scent of marine lily and sea breeze. There are numerous beaches that can be visited in Costa Rei but also in the nearby Castiadas and Villaputzu.

Beach of Torre Salinas, more than 8 km long and in proximity of the Pond of the Saline, it is characterized by fine-dark sand originated by granite rocks. Surrounded by an uncontaminated countryside, this beach is characterized by a wonderful combination of colours: the green of the vegetation, the light blue of the sky and the deep blue of the sea, whose crystal-clear water allows the tourists to appreciate its bottom and rocks.

Feraxi, a rather irregular beach that extends for about 2,5 km until the mouth of Rio Corr'e Pruna. This is a particularly-beautiful coastline without paved roads but full of dirt roads and paths that lead to a wide beach surrounded by mediterranean scrub. The fine white sand is gathered by the wind that creates dunes on the edge of the beach and, some of them, are covered in a flourishing vegetation.

Beach of Portu de S'Illix and beach of Cala sa Figu. These two inlets with crystal-clear water are isolated, irregular and full of various plant species. The first one is a small inlet set in the rocks of the Capo Ferrato promontory with a beautiful beache divided in two parts by a reddish rock. This inlet is about 200 meters long and is framed by mountains and hills overlooking the sea. The second one is separated from the main beach by a cliff. It has the shape of an amphitheater delimited by granite rocks, and that makes it look like a real theater in an area with a flourishing vegetation that extends all the way to the sandy shore.

The bay of Costa Rei, divided in Costa Rei (south) and Piscina Rei (north). On this coastline, protected from the northwest wind, the sea is calm for most of the year. The beach, that is among the first beaches on the list of the most beautiful beaches of the world, is spectacular for its dimension and its crystal-clear water that, in proximity of the rocks, creates cobalt-blue natural pools. On the right side of the bay there is the Scoglio di Peppino, a whale-shaped white-granite rock that attracts many tourists every year.

Mount Turnu, a small arch-shaped bay with fine and white sand that becomes amber-coloured on the shore. The beautiful crystal-clear sea has emerald-green and turquoise shades and a rich marine fauna that lives in the many small grottos on the bottom by the rocks.

Cala Sinzias, a wide and sandy inlet delimited by rocky promontories that extends for more than 1 km. Behind it, there are many dunes, mediterranean scrub and maritime pines. The white sandy shore has crystal-clear shallow water.

Cala Pira, characterized by fine white sand, owes its name to the fifteenth-century sighting tower located on a cliff. The crystal-clear sea is usually calm and has a beautiful turquoise colour with emerald-green shades, with a sandy and shallow bottom.
