Day 3 Tokyo
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day dedicated to visiting Tokyo with an Italian-speaking guide. We begin with a splendid panoramic view of the metropolis from the observatory of the Bunkyo Civic Center. Next, we visit the Edo Fukagawa Museum, which features life-sized reconstructions of everyday life in the area during the Edo period. We will also explore the charming Asakusa district, home to the 7th-century Senso-ji Temple - the oldest in the city - and the long Nakamise-dori street lined with traditional shops. Finally, we take a walk through the Ginza district, where the tour ends. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 Tokyo
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at leisure for individual activities or optional excursions. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Optional excursion (to be paid) "a Crossroad into the Past" with Italian-speaking guide, not bookable on-site. The entire day is dedicated to visiting some of the most historic neighborhoods in Tokyo. The tour begins with a visit to the Tsukiji Fish Market (outer market). Although a new fish market location has recently been established, the original site is still active, lively, and full of locals selling and cooking excellent fresh seafood.
Next, we will explore the charming district of Yanaka, particularly the folkloric Yanaka Ginza street, full of local restaurants, street food, and small shops where the atmosphere of a bygone era can still be felt.
Finally, we’ll head to the popular neighborhood of Shibuya, famous for its impressive crossing, known to be the busiest pedestrian intersection in the world.
Day 5 Tokyo → Kyoto
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, depart independently for Kyoto by Shinkansen using the Japan Rail Pass (2nd class), arriving at Kyoto Station in the early afternoon. Meet the Italian-speaking guide in the hotel lobby and begin the tour of Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. The visit includes the Golden Pavilion of Kinkaku-ji, the iconic temple made famous by the novel of author Yukio Mishima, and continues with Ryoan-ji Temple, renowned for its Zen rock garden, whose stones are arranged so that not all can be seen at once from any single viewpoint. On the way back, enjoy a walk through the historic Gion district, famous for its teahouses and for the maiko — apprentice geishas — occasionally seen strolling through its alleys. End of the tour. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Note: one piece of luggage per person will be shipped separately by courier from Tokyo to Kyoto and will arrive the following day. Therefore, an overnight bag will be necessary for the stay in Kyoto. You will receive your luggage at the hotel. (Additional bags will incur a separate charge.) It is recommended not to bring bulky luggage to ensure a smooth continuation of the guided tour in the afternoon.
Day 6 Kyoto

Optional guided tour: Kyoto – Visit to Nara and Fushimi with an Italian-speaking guide. Cannot be booked on site.
Day 7 Kyoto
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at leisure in Kyoto for individual activities or optional excursions. We recommend visiting the Buddhist temple Kiyomizu-dera and the Sanjusangen-do, a hall that houses 1,001 wooden statues of the Bodhisattva Kannon. Alternatively, you can use the Japan Rail Pass to explore nearby destinations such as Uji, known for its green tea and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Byodo-in Temple, or Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 Kyoto → Kanazawa
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Kanazawa with an express train (2nd class) to Tsuruga (approx. 1 hour), then by Shinkansen to Kanazawa (approx. 1 hour), using the Japan Rail Pass. Full day without assistance. In Kanazawa, we recommend visiting Kenroku-en Garden, considered one of the three most beautiful landscape gardens in Japan, the Omicho-ichiba market, especially known for its seafood, and the Nagamachi Yuzen-kan, which displays beautiful Kaga Yuzen silk kimonos, a traditional dyeing technique of the region. Overnight stay at the hotel.
