Breakfast. The morning will be dedicated to an orientation tour of the capital Amman, a modern and cosmopolitan city. The city tour will provide an overview of the Jordanian capital, including the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, two of the city's most famous archaeological sites. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we head towards the interior of Jordan: just a few kilometers away from Amman begins the desert. In this area, the famous castles of Amra, Azraq, and Karraneh were built, which appear more like noble palaces than actual fortresses. The structures date back to the 7th century when the Umayyads wanted to present themselves as princes of the desert Bedouins. Return to Amman in the late afternoon, dinner at the hotel, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Traveling along the ancient King's Highway (dating back 5,000 years), we reach Madaba, where we will find the famous mosaic in the Church of St. George, known as the "Map of the Holy Land," as it depicts various routes leading to Jerusalem from major locations in the Middle East. This remarkable artwork dates back to the 6th century. The journey continues to Mount Nebo, the place from which Moses viewed the Promised Land and where the prophet himself was buried. A small square church was built on the site by the early Byzantine Christians and was later expanded into a larger complex. Lunch in a local restaurant. We then proceed to visit the impressive Crusader castle of Shobak, built in 1115, surrounded by a wild and remote landscape - a structure that manages to captivate even the most indifferent of travelers. Arrival in Petra in the late afternoon. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. The entire day will be dedicated to visiting the archaeological site of the Nabataean capital. Ancient Petra was one of the major trading centers of the Middle East. Protected by the rose-colored rocks of the Jordanian mountains, Petra experienced extraordinary wealth until the 8th century, when it was abandoned. Access to the archaeological site is truly breathtaking: walking along a path through a deep canyon, surrounded by sculptures and engineering marvels (the Siq), we reach the so-called "Treasury", a building entirely carved into the rock. After a short stop, we continue downhill towards the Roman Theatre, Qasr Bint Pharaoun, the Temple of the Winged Lions, and other monuments. Lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight stay in Petra.

Breakfast and departure for Siq Al-Barid, in Beida (Little Petra), and visit to the archaeological site which includes tombs, water channels and cisterns carved into the rock, temples, and remains of frescoes on plaster. This small settlement was used by the Nabataeans to host caravans coming from Arabia and the East. It was also a place where many religious activities took place, including the Festival of the Drink, when the Nabataean king organized celebrations and offered drinks to his guests. At the end of the visit, proceed to the Wadi Rum desert, also known as the Valley of the Moon, with ancient riverbeds, wind-sculpted mountains, and vast desert landscapes with smooth pastel-colored sands. This desert area, the most evocative in Jordan, is especially famous for the epic of Lawrence of Arabia, who lived here for a long time. Followed by a 2-hour 4x4 vehicle tour. Lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight stay at the tented camp in the Wadi Rum desert.
