The Serenusa Village offers a high-quality rich and various food service. There is the buffet service (breakfast included) with at least 25 courses: hot and cold appetizers, first and second dishes, numerous side dishes, grilled meat and fish, dessert, fresh fruit, wine in carafes and filtered water; a selection of bottled local wines and other beverages is available with an extra cost that must be paid with the smart card. The guests can also benefit of a packed lunch cooked for them on request instead of a meal. The two air-conditioned dining rooms have a buffet table at the centre. The tables have place mats and are assigned at the moment of the arrival at the Village; they have 8/9 seats and are often shared with other guests (for those who choose the Comfort room, the table is reserved). The Hotel is particularly careful of the guests with food intolerances (gluten, lactose, eggs). There is the possibility for the parents to cook for their babies in an specific kitchen, practical, functional and available 24/7, and the main ingredients are available during the hours of the main meals; it has electric plates, fridge, sink, tables, chairs, high chairs, pots, dishes, bottle-warmer, microwaves, blenders, sterilizers. There are also fridges reserved for the parents and their personal ingredients.

Locality
Licata is a wonderful sicilian town 42 km far from the suggestive Valle dei Templi, Agrigento, in an area with one of the richest historical and natural patrimony of the world. Spending a holiday in this locality does not only mean living the sea and its beaches, but also learning its culture, tradition and nature.

Places to know and visit
Playa Marianello, an uncontaminated beach famous for its "timpe", a wall with white gullies right behind the beach. The Mollarella beach, inside a suggestive bay delimited by two rocky promontories, is the most famous beach on the southern coast of Sicily. The beach of San Nicola, smaller and wilder because of its rocks. The beach of Torre di Gaffe, at the base of a cliff covered in the typical vegetation of the mediterranean scrub and on top of which there is a centuries-old sighting tower.

The San Giacomo Lighthouse, one of the highest in Europe (40 meters high) is the symbol of the city. From here, it is possible to admire unique landscapes.

Castel Sant'Angelo, built by the Borboni in the 1640 with a baroque style. Located on the namesake hill 150 meters on the sea level, today it hosts the ethnological museum of the city. This hill was once called "Ecmo" and here many evidences of the ancient Finziade (greek/roman city built by Finzia, tyrant of Akragas, after the destruction of Gela) were found; they are now collected in the archeological museum of the Badia.

The Grangela, a hydraulic structure of the hellenic age. Following this itinerary through different ages, the tourists arrive in Piazza Progresso, where the Palazzo di Città is situated; this castle was built by the architect Ernesto Basile, main representative of the sicilian "Liberty" and of the italian modernism, between first years of the 1900 and the 1940s. Inside Palazzo di Città many works of art are collected, like greek marble medallions with the faces of the founders of Gela and the statue of the Madonna con il Bambino, dated back to the fifteenth century.

Noble villas on the hill of Monserrato that surrounds the city: Villa Sapio Rumbolo, Villa Urso, Villa Lumia, Villa Giuliana and the beautiful Villa Verderame. For those who appreciate the sumptuous baroque style, there are Palazzo Bosio and Palazzo Frangipane, both in the historical centre.

The Stagnone Pontillo, an underground complex born as a place of worship and necropolis but used as a water tank during the arabian domination. The site is probably dated back to the bronze age and consists of two artificial caves excavated in the rock: there are circular tombs and graffiti written in ancient mediterranean languages.

The Church of Santa Maria la Nuova, built during the Renaissance with baroque details, is famous for the wooden crucifix (called "Black Christ") of the second half of the fifteenth century. According to the legend, the turkish invaders set fire to the crucifix which was miraculously only blackened.

The Church of Sant'Agostino, built in the 1611. Inside, there is the wooden simulacrum of the Madonna Addolorata who, according to the legend, survived a shipwreck and ended up on the sicilian coast.

The Church of Sant'Angelo, a pilgrimage destination where the relics of the saint are preserved. The nature lovers will appreciate the visit to the Isolotto di San Nicola, in front of the beach of Rocca di San Nicola and of Pisciotto. With its rich marine flora and fauna, it is the perfect place for scuba diving. Many greek/roman findings and wrecked ships were found on its bottom.

The historical center of Licata is an outdoor museum with its baroque buildings and twentieth-century villas on the hill. But beside the cultural tourism, Licata also offers many shops and boutiques (clothing and souvenir) located in Piazza Progresso, Corso Roma, Corso Umberto and Corso Vittorio Emanuele. In the lighthouse area and in the Piazzetta Attilio Regolo there are numerous night clubs where the tourists can spend fun summer evenings.

Club card
Mandatory for guests older than 3 years, it entitles the owner to use the sports facilities, the beach services, to participate in tournaments and group lessons, to use the Serenino, SereninoPiù Club, Serenup and Serenhappy services. At the GranSerena work over 40 entertainers ready to amuse the guests of any age, both adults and children, with parties, shows, sports courses and tournaments, live music and dancing, excursions. Shows in the amphitheater every evening: musical, cabaret, variety shows, games. The Bluserena villages are the first in Italy with the quality mark "VACANZA AMICA DEI BAMBINI", child-friendly holiday, recognized by the National Federation of Pediatricians Cipe-Sispe-Sinspe. All services, comforts and structures are designed to be used by children, teenagers and adults, fun and safe and always controlled. In the Serenino Club, SereninoPiù Club, Serenup and Serenhappy, the children can be entrusted to highly-qualified professional entertainers who will present a various program of activities. All the listed services are available from 04/06 to 08/09, except for the Serenino and the SereninoPiù Club, which are available for the entire summer season. The teenagers can also participate in the Serenup and Serenhappy activities such as theatre, sports, games and much more. All the family will have fun with the Bluserena Circus, learning the basis of circus performances.

Soft All Inclusive
The main restaurant offers a buffet service at breakfast (coffee from dispenser), lunch and dinner with show cooking, wine in carafes and filtered water, a reserved table for the entire week. The tables have 8/9 seats and are often shared with other guests. Lunch is reserved for the children of the Mini Club and the teenagers of the Teeny and Junior Club from 04/06 to 08/09, with pizza and snacks served on the beach from 11:00 to 12:30. The Serenusa Village offers restaurant/braceria "Il Gusto" open at lunch and dinner, from monday to saturday, from 11/06 to 15/09 with reserved tables for the families (reservations can be made the day before in the village and are subject to availability, with rounds in different time bands). The bars offer filtered water. The beach offers a reserved umbrella, a sunbed and a beach chair for each family. The kitchen offers a space for the parents who want to cook for their babies, open 24/7, and the ingredient are avaiable during the hours of the main meals. The smart card must be used to pay for extra drinks.

All Inclusive
It can be reserved only by the guests that stay for at least 7 nights. It includes drinks until 14:00 of the day of the departure. The main bars offer espresso and cappuccino, decaffeinated and barley coffee, cappuccino with soy milk, white milk, macchiato, ginseng, american coffee, coffee with a splash of liquor, coffee cream, tea and infusions; beverages on tap in 20 cl glasses: iced lemon or peach tea, lemonade, tonic water, cedrata, chinotto, orange soda and coca-cola (or pepsi); fruit juices (pineapple, ace, peach, apricot, red orange, pear), black cherry syrups, almond milk, mint and barley coffee), mineral water, draft beer in 20 cl glasses, white wine, red wine, prosecco, liqueur, tonic liquor, vermouth, cocktails and grappa. All the cocktails, champagne and the alcoholic drinks (grappa, liqueurs and prosecco) marked as "special" on the menu are not included. The bars of the main restaurant offer espresso and cappuccino, decaffeinated and barley coffee, cappuccino with soy milk, white milk and macchiato; at lunch and dinner a beverage on tap in a 40 cl glass for each person older than 3 years choosing among beer, orange soda and coca-cola (or pepsi). It also includes the possibility to rent one beach towel for each person older than 12 years, that can be changed after the first week (further washes are not free). To have access to the services it is mandatory to use the Smart Card and to wear the specific bracelet. The All Inclusive formula cannot be used to offer drinks to third parties. The formula can be revoked by the client himself at any moment, and by Bluserena if the rules are not followed by the client. In both cases, the guest will benefit of the Soft All Inclusive offer.

Additional costs

Mandatory Club card (for guests older than 3 years) € 36,00 per person for the first week, starting on the eighth night of the stay € 5,00 a day per person.
Late check-out: the room and the umbrella on the beach are available until 14:15 of the day of the departure, € 49,00. For those who choose the late check-out, the extra meal in Soft All Inclusive costs € 22,00; it's free for babies 0-3 years; € 14,00 3-12 years; packed lunch € 7,00 per person.
Serenella kit for children: a big Serenella Peluche (50 cm), a Serenella single-bed cover 100% cotton with piquè knitting 260x170 cm, a Serenella Bio Bath kit (shampoo, shower gel, body lotion in 100 ml bottles) and a Serenella Sticker. Each kit must be reserved during the booking and costs € 49,00.
