Restaurant
The expert chefs offer a genuine kitchen with local and seasonal products. The weekly menu, always different and delicious, are enriched with grilled fish or meat and themed evenings: the "Serata del Pescatore", fisherman evening, with the fish of the day catched in the marine of Orosei; the "Serata Sarda", sardinian evening, with traditional local specialties. The bar in the central square of the hotel, surrounded by the wonderful plants and flowering bougainvillae, is the perfect place to admire the first lights of the day drinking a delicious coffee. On the porch by the pool and the theater, aperitifs and cocktails are served with a musical background. The beach bar, pervaded by the sea breeze, is the ideal place for a refreshing drink, a quick lunch or an afternoon snack in the wonderful scenery of the white Cala Ginepro beach.

Locality
Orosei is the historical centre of the southern Baronia and is located at the base of a hill originated by a volcano on the Cedrino river valley. The sea, the beaches and the coves that can be reached from Orosei characterize the surrounding landscape and make it one of the most famous tourist destinations in Sardinia. The seabord extends for 14 km full of beaches: from Osala to the wildlife oasis of Bidderosa that, with its crystal-clear sea and fine sand, represents the main attraction of the area, natural oasis of peace, protected by the environmental constraint that limits the daily accesses to the beach.

Places to know and visit
The beach of Orosei is divided in four areas: Marina di Orosei (the nearest to the centre to which it is connected by a cycle path), Su Barone (where there is a landing for small boats), Su Petrosu (the most populated by young people) and Osala (where there is a second small harbour). The sea bottoms of these localities are a real paradise for the scuba-diving and fishing lovers.

Cala Liberotto, characterized by several beaches with alternate sand and rocky pink-granite promontories. The particular lay of the land makes it one of the most beautiful areas to explore walking through paths that run along the beach and rocks. Right before the promontory that separates it from Cala Ginepro, there are hundreds of meters of sandy shore overlooked by a pinewood.

Cala Ginepro is particularly suitable for those who love white sands and crystal-clear blue waters that reflect the shallow bottom. In fact, it is suitable for families with children and for those who want to take long walks or a relaxing picnic under the shadow of a juniper wood.

The most famous beach of the area is surely Bidderosa, a protected natural oasis 13 km far from Orosei. It extends for about 530 hectars and is a succession of dunes and paths that cross the mediterranean scrub of domestic pines, eucalyptus, cork oaks, palm trees and centuries-old junipers. 

Berchida, together with the Bidderosa Oasis, is part of the area that Sardinia recognized as "Sito di Interesse Comunitario", an important area that deserves adequate policies regarding the environmental protection and the interventions that must be staged by the municipalities of Orosei and Siniscola. With its white sand and crystal-clear shallow water, Berchida is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, reachable by car through a dirt road.

The town still has a well-preserved historical centre where it is possible to admire the Church of S. Antonio Abate, the Church of S. Giacomo Maggiore and the Museo Guiso, that hosts a collection of miniaturized theatres of the eighteenth century and an exhibition of traditional costumes from the 1880 to the twentieth century. There are also the Church of the Rosario and the Church of the Anime, prepared during the Holy Week.

The rural Church of Santa Maria 'e mare is important for one of the most suggestive events of the entire Sardinia: the simulacrum of the Saint is brought by embellished boats full of flowers along the Cedrino River until it reaches the little church of Santa Maria, where the religious ceremony is celebrated.
