Restaurant
There are two dining rooms, one with sea view. The restaurant of the Pietrablu Resort & SPA offers a buffet sevice with water and wine included, and typical mediterranean cooking, strongly ispired by the local tradition. It is possible to have dinner in the typical apulian restaurant "Il Pugliese" (mandatory reservation, included in the cost of the stay).

Locality
Beaches, fun and culture: this is Polignano a Mare, 30 km far from Bari. Polignano a Mare rises on the crystal-clear sea full of suggestive caves. Passing through the arch of the Old Door, you will enter the enchanting ancient hamlet full of shaded alleys, little white houses with loggias, staircases decorated with coloured flowers and terraces with amazing views. It is not far from the other important tourist destinations of this region, such as Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, Fasano. Those who arrive from the sea can land in the marina of San Vito: Polignano a Mare is a perfect destination for boat trips.

Places to know and visit
The historical centre of the city developes on a cliff and is delimited by ancient city walls. Polignano a Mare was a famous center in the Roman age, as the bridge of the Via Traiana testifies. The Arco Marchesale is the entrance to the old village; it once was a drawbridge of which only the old chains remain. The white houses of the center surround many important monuments, such as the Mother Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the Church of Sant'Antonio, the Church of San Cosma and Damiano and the wonderful Abbey of San Vito.

Visiting Polignano a Mare means constantly bumping into suggestive historical testimonies. The Clock's House, for example, hosted the university during the middle age; today, the clock still works thanks to the owner of the house who keeps charging it. Another noteworthy structure is the Monument to the Fallen, in Piazza Garibaldi, dedicated to the victims of the two world wars, enriched in the 2003 with a marble piece of work dedicated to the victims of Nassiriya.

Then, there is the monument dedicated to the most famous personality born in Polignano a Mare: Domenico Modugno. The statue dedicated to the great italian singer is located a few steps away from the sea. The recently-renovated Piazza Aldo Moro, however, is the square where the major events and festivals are organized. Near Polignano a Mare there is the Santa Barbara Site, an ancient Neolithic settlement, the Madonna in Grottole Site with caverns inhabited during the prehistoric era and the seventeenth-century sighting tower Torre Incina. Moreover, there are the ancient "masserie" of Polignano a Mare, suggestive structures in the countryside.

The most wonderful and characteristic coastlines and beaches of Polignano a Mare are: Cala Paura, Cala Porto, Ponte dei Lapilli, Porto Contessa and Porto Cavallo. Cala Lama Monachile is a wonderful, deep inlet located north of the historical center, while on the outskirts of the town there are other heavenly beaches: Cala Fetente, Pozzo Vivo, Port'Alga, the beach of San Giovanni and the inlet of Torre Incina. The sea of Polignano is extremely clean and, since 2008, it has constantly been awared with a "bandiera blu".

A thing to do in Polignano a Mare is certainly a tour of the marine caverns. The coastline is full of grottos and many of them are particularly characteristic and enchanting: the Ripagnola grotto, the wonderful Grottarco, the caverns of Santa Caterina, the Grotte della Foca or the romantic Grotta dei Fidanzati, that can only be reached by swimming.

Monopoli. A lovely walk along the ancient harbour and through the alleys of the middle-age historical centre, built right onto the ruins of a fortified messapian settlement of the fith century B.C.. Let yourself be captured by the citadel overlooking the sea and enjoy its breathtaking landscape.

Bari. From the harbour to the suggestive seafront of Bari that twists and turns until it arrives to the gate of the city and continues towards the Basilica of San Nicola, where the relics of the saint are preserved, up to the famous Norman-Svevo Castle, the ancient defensive fortification of the Old Town. A dive into the past and into the modern Bari.

Ostuni, Cisternino. Get lost in the narrow alleys of the historical white city, full of intertwining white alleys, balconies and flowers around the cathedral, offering many magical tricks of the light. Artisans, stories and new scents are waiting for you. Then, stop in Cisternino to visit its historical buildings.

Grotte di Castellana. Spend a pleasant afternoon discovering a territory full of natural grottos that are part of the biggest italian karstic complex. The tour follows a 3-km long path that reaches a 70-meter depth. Stalactites and stalagmites offer a beautiful landscape with unique shapes and colours in the Grotta Bianca, the Caverna dell’Altare, the Caverna della Cupola and the Passaggio del Presepio.

Alberobello. A pleasant trip to the monumental area with the trulli, in the districts of Monti and Aia Piccola, entirely made of lined-up trulli situated along the narrow, steep and winding streets. Then, a visit to the Loggia di Pilato, located 380 meters on the sea level, eastern Murgia, allows you to appreciate a unique landscape characterized by 40 km of coastline and ancient olive trees.

From 20/05 to 30/09 it includes the club card, porterage, wellness itineray in the Spa, Wi-Fi connection, themed nights, breakfast, lunch and dinner with beverages included, pizza cooked in wood-burning oven (morning and afternoon), non-alcoholic drinks, beer, alcoholic drinks and national spirits, sweet and savoury snacks, coffee bar, homemade ice cream, hot dogs, hamburgers and fries, crepes, chef's aperitifs, tea time with mini pastries, seasonal fruit, gastronomic appointment in the evening, shuttle service from/to Polignano a Mare until midnight (31/03-28/10). The All Inclusive formula does not include: liquors, foreign alcoholic drinks and spirits; canned and bottled sodas, wine, beers and mineral water; ice creams and packaged products. From 31/03 to 20/05 and from 23/09 to 03/11 the guests can choose between the half board (reduction € 15,00 a day per person) or the All Inclusive: porterage, wellness itinerary in the SPA, Wi-Fi connection, FBB with beverages included; non-alcoholic drinks, beer, national alcoholic drinks and spirits, sweet and savoury snacks, coffee in the Bar 12 Nodi. Vip Package € 50,00 a day for each room, to be applied to the Comfort rate, it includes:
room with double bathroom and balcony with sea view, reserved umbrella, guaranteed reservation at the restaurant "Il Pugliese", tidying up twice a day, bathrobe, fruit basket and prosecco at the arrival and minibar supply in the room, for a minimum of three occupants from 01/07 to 02/09.
Extra lunch € 25,00 for adults, € 18,00 3-13 years, must be paid on the spot.
