The Grand Hotel in Porto Cervo is a 4-star superior hotel located just 50 meters from the beach of Cala Granu, on the Costa Smeralda.
Porto Cervo is an emblematic and prestigious center of the Costa Smeralda, along the northeastern coast of Sardinia. Worldly, eccentric and trendy, Porto Cervo has been transformed, starting from the 1960s, from a small fishing village into a pearl of luxury tourism. To carry out this radical transformation was Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, who was fascinated by the beauty of this coastal stretch of Gallura. Sea, luxury, VIPs, yachts and nightlife are the main ingredients of Porto Cervo, a privileged meeting place for the international jet-set. The inhabited center develops around the panoramic terrace of the famous Piazzetta and the Stella Maris Church, from which small streets full of boutiques, jewelers and trendy restaurants wind.
The new port of Porto Cervo is one of the best equipped in the Mediterranean, has a capacity of 700 seats and is also home to the famous Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, organizer of the most exciting regattas. In summer you can admire the many luxurious yachts and yachts especially of famous people. It is in fact a continuous alternation of appointments with the international jet set, sporting events and parties.
On the road to the Costa Smeralda, towards Porto Cervo, the first beach you meet is that of Portisco, followed by the Arena Bianca beach, whose name is given precisely by the characteristic sand. The coast continues with the town of Razza di Iuncu, a set of many small beaches and ravines that are easier to reach from the sea than from land. And again, not far from Porto Cervo, we find Cala di Volpe, Cala del Faro, the Romazzino beach, the Principe beach, other small beaches and coves and the wonderful Maddalena Archipelago.
