San Sicario, fraction of the municipality of Cesana Torinese, Piemonte, is a small town situated on the mountain and characterized by ancient cabins. It has many ski areas that hosted the Super giant slalom and Downhill competitions of the female alpine skiing during the 2006 Olympic Games. During the summer, it is possible to practice horseback riding, archery and grass skiing. San Sicario is part of the Via Lattea ski area, with 400 km of ski slopes on the border with France. Thanks to its many ski areas, it became one of the favourite destinations of mountain lovers.
