Tirrenia is located on the Tyrrhenian coast, five kilometers south of the town of Marina di Pisa. Modern and elegant seaside resort, surrounded by a vast Mediterranean pine forest. The locality offers a large stretch of beach bordered by dunes of great naturalistic importance, which extends for a few kilometers. There are also many sporting activities, practicable on the beaches or in the numerous sports facilities immersed in the green of the pine forest: beach volleyball, sailing, underwater fishing, tennis, football, golf, horse riding. In the green Mediterranean pine forest of Tirrenia you can relax with walks, by bike or on horseback or even by visiting the Oasis of the dunes of Tirrenia, a protected area managed by the WWF of Pisa, which represents a unique environment of flora and fauna. This is a lively town with beaches that are always very clean and repeatedly awarded both with the Blue Flag by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), and with the Green Flag for beaches suitable for families with children, awarded by the Italian pediatricians.
