Immerse yourself in the history and culture of one of the world’s oldest civilizations with our Istanbul Tour with sea: spend 3 days in the enchanting Istanbul, where every corner tells a story, and 4 days in Izmir, a fascinating city offering breathtaking views.

In Istanbul, we will begin the tour in the picturesque and colorful neighborhoods of Ferner and Balat, protected by UNESCO, a true open-air museum; we will stroll along the shores of the Golden Horn in the heart of the historic city and visit the Iron Church of St. Stephen, a symbol of the meeting between Eastern and Western cultures. The journey continues to the Grand Bazaar, with its 4500 shops, the magnificent Suleymaniye Mosque, considered the most beautiful of Istanbul’s imperial mosques, the magnificent Virgin Mary Monastery, and Eminönü, one of the most historic and lively neighborhoods, home to the famous "Spice Bazaar."

In Izmir, you will have 4 days to freely explore this charming city, immersed in its perfect Mediterranean climate and surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Izmir is a gem that offers not only a seaside stay but also historical monuments to discover, such as the Agora and the Archaeological Museum. If you want to add a touch of adventure, you can take a ferry to the beautiful Greek islands of Samos and Chios!

Breakfast. In the morning, we will begin with a half-day "Byzantine" tour: we will start by visiting the Suleymaniye Mosque, considered the most beautiful of Istanbul's imperial mosques, built between 1550 and 1557 by Sinan, the chief architect of the Ottoman Golden Age. Next, we will head towards the ancient walls of Constantinople, currently known as Mevlana Gate, built by Emperor Theodosius II in the year 413. These solid walls, several stories high and between three and six meters thick, protected the city from attacks by the Goths, Bulgarians, Russians, Arabs, and Turks. The walls were breached only twice, by the Crusaders in 1204 and by Mehmed "The Conqueror" in 1453. We will then visit the Monastery of the Virgin of the Source. According to historians Procopius and Cedrenus, the church was originally built by Emperor Justinian in the final years of his reign, near a water spring previously known as the "Fountain of Miracles," located outside the walls of Theodosius II, near what is now Silivri Gate. The visit concludes at Eminönü, once the main access to the city, now a very busy area that is home to the "Egyptian Market," also known as the "Spice Bazaar."

Afternoon free to explore the city, or you can join the optional "Bosphorus" excursion proposed by our guide. Overnight stay.

This cosmopolitan city, the third largest one in Turkey, offers a mild climate perfect for enjoying a walk along the Kordon waterfront, the beaches, and the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea. And it’s while strolling that you can’t miss trying some of Izmir’s most iconic specialties: Kumru, a typical sandwich-like roll with sausage and melted cheese; Boyoz, a savory, buttery pastry perfect for breakfast or a coffee break; and Turkish tea, an important tradition throughout the country, often served in small tulip-shaped cups.

These charming Greek islands offer a perfect blend of ancient history, breathtaking landscapes and traditions. The ferry to Samos takes about an hour and a half to two hours. The island is known for its natural beauty, winemaking tradition, and ancient history. In Samos, you can visit Pythagoreion, an archaeological site named after the philosopher Pythagoras, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can admire the ruins of the Temple of Hera. On the hill overlooking the bay of Samos stands the ancient Monastery of Panagia Spiliani, which faces directly onto the sea.
